On the 16 of December 2017, the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperor’s palace was transformed into a world spectacular, with ladies from 40 different countries entrancing the audience with their national costume.
Wings, headpieces, and capes strolled across the stage introducing themselves and telling the crowd what their costume meant. After some traditional Zulu dancing, it was into the evening gown section. Glittering ball gowns in so many colors graced the stage, giving the top 12 one last chance to impress the panel of judges. With nerves rising it was soon down to the Top 6 and then the Top 3. Excitement rose as the Top 3 claimed their titles, First runner-up Mrs Costa Rica, Second runner-up Mrs Belarus and the new Mrs. World 2018, Mrs Hong Kong.
