I’ve wanted to attend the annual Medieval Fayre for years, but Murphy has conspired on successive occasions to thwart my desires. This year my turn finally arrived and I donned a 15kg outfit (dressing the part is important) and joined a group of like-minded individuals at the Inanda Country base to experience the magic.

So many different and interesting stands greeted me, with incredible necklaces and general medieval-inspired bric-a-brac that would pauper many a rich king.
